We monitor channels run by extremist actors on the platforms TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Telegram. We collect metadata such as views, likes and comments and manually evaluate particularly striking posts. Based on this, we provide an overview of current trends and identify key topics and narratives, which we then analyse. The focus is on the phenomena of right-wing extremism, Islamism and conspiracy ideologies. The quarterly reports summarise the most relevant findings and back them up with current social media data.

In the fsecond quarter of 2026, the monitoring focused in particular on the following topics:

1. The Epstein Files and how extremist actors are using them on their channels 

2. The month of Ramadan and its exploitation by Islamist actors 

3. The use of AI by extremist actors 

4. The glorification of and positive references to Adolf Hitler and the Wehrmacht
