Webtalk "Extreme right-wing influence on child protection"

11:00 - 13:00 Uhr
Online
max. 30 Teilnehmende

A web talk by the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Ausstieg zum Einstieg e.V. as part of the dist[ex] cooperation network.

The web talk focuses on the study “reKis – Rechtsextreme Einflussnahmen auf den Kinderschutz” (reKis – Right-wing extremist influence on child protection), which addresses a topic that has received little research attention to date. The aim of the study is to investigate the extent to which (extreme) right-wing actors, narratives, or discourses influence child and youth welfare work, what effects this has on practice, and what strategies professionals develop to counter such influence.

Speaker Prof. Dr. Birgit Jagusch will present the study and the initial results of a nationwide exploratory online survey involving professionals from various fields of work. Following the presentation, there will be time for questions, discussion, and in-depth debate.

The web talk is aimed at professionals working in disengagement and exit work, academia, and related fields, as well as anyone interested in child protection and dealing with (extreme) right-wing strategies.
